Reporting a wrong number
This is the one worth writing about. If a calculation looks wrong, please include:
- the page you were on;
- the measurements you typed, exactly as you typed them;
- the answer you got and the answer you expected.
The share link does most of that for you: Copy link on the calculator puts your measurements into the address, so pasting it shows exactly what you saw.
Every reported calculation error is reproduced as a test case before it is fixed, so the same mistake cannot come back. Fixes are dated on the changelog.
Accessibility problems
If something here cannot be used with a keyboard, a screen reader or magnification, that is a bug and it is treated as one. The accessibility statement says what has been tested and what has not.
What this address is not
It is not a measuring service, and answers here are not professional advice. For a measurement that has to satisfy a bank, a buyer or a court, hire a surveyor.
