Bring two calculations here and they are lined up row by row: the floor area, the walls, and whatever each side was costed for — flooring, paint, tile, carpet, trim, wallpaper, drywall. The last column is the difference, in the same units and as a percentage.
Where a side comes from. Anything this browser remembers — the calculation you have open, or one from your Recent list — or a share link somebody sent you. Nothing is measured here, so the two sides are exactly what the calculator and the estimators worked out.
One unit, two currencies. The second side is converted into the first side’s unit, so feet against metres is a fair comparison. Prices are never converted: if the two sides are in different currencies, both are shown as they are and the difference is left blank rather than invented.
Only what each side carries. An estimator appears when the calculation actually holds its settings. A side that was never taken to the paint page has no paint row, because filling in defaults would quote a job nobody priced.
The address is the comparison. Both calculations travel in this page’s own link, so you can send it, bookmark it, or print the table for a customer.
