If the rooms are already in a spreadsheet, there is no reason to type them again. Copy the rows, paste them into the box at the top of this page, and they arrive in the calculator with their names and measurements.
It reads what spreadsheets actually produce. Tabs from Excel and Sheets, commas or semicolons
from a CSV, decimal commas, feet and inches as 12'6", fractions as 3 1/2, and a whole size in
one cell as 16 x 12. If a column says which unit a row is in, that row is converted.
Nothing is uploaded. The table is read by this page, in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, which matters when the table is a client’s.
It never invents a measurement. A row that gives only an area is listed as such rather than quietly turned into a square — there is a box to tick if that is what you want. A row it cannot read is shown with the cell that stopped it, and the rest of the table still imports.
Then it is a calculation like any other: the area and the cost, the estimators, a share link, and a comparison against another quote.
